About this blog.
Stepping on Dandelions started as my own personal diary, that soon began being more of a public platform for me to share my experiences and use my voice. This space is a place where you can find inspiration for those hard times, and a sense of comfort knowing you are not alone. I strive to be positive, but sometimes it’s not so easy.
I have a few invisible illnesses/diagnoses that affect my life-
- IST (inappropriate tachycardia syndrome)
- SVT (supraventricular tachycardia)
- POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome)
- Atypical Facial Pain (Trigeminal Neuralgia)
- Fibromyalgia
- Generalized Anxiety Disorder
- PTSD
- Major Depressive Disorder
- Panic Disorder
Living with a chronic illness is not fun, or easy, and has definitely taken a toll on my life, and my relationship with Christ. But, I am honest through the journey, and I share my deepest pain with you, so you hopefully know you are not alone.
Sometimes I might refer to my heart as Herald (yes, I named my heart- he’s kinda a big deal).
I talk about a few other topics on this little blog- motherhood, marriage, and my faith through it all.
I hope you join me on this journey through life. The easiest way to stay up-to-date on blog posts is to subscribe, and also follow on instagram where I am active most.
